Wilson and Henin have been together for the past 11 years. "I have been a Wilson girl since juniors and throughout my career. Wilson rackets have carried me through some of the proudest moments of my life, and to that I am grateful," Henin said.
Henin has been the dominant player in women's tennis since winning her first Grand Slam title at Roland Garros in 2003 and going on to #1 in the world. In the view of the tennis world, 2007 was nearly a perfect season for Justine. Henin won 10 of the 14 tournaments she entered -- a career best -- and produced a singles record of 63-4 as she became the first woman to win $5 million in a single year.

A source says Danica Patrick has closed a deal with JR Motorsports to begin racing for NASCAR. Accordingly, Patrick will soon announce a partial Nationwide Series schedule.

Michael Fred Phelps (born June 30, 1985) is an American swimmer. He has won 14 career Olympic gold medals, the most by any Olympian, and is often cited as the greatest swimmer and one of the greatest Olympians of all time. As of August 2, 2009, Phelps has broken thirty-seven world records in swimming.

The national stadium nickname (The Bird Nest) in Beijing, China was struck with lightening this morning (Jamaican time) as Jamaican sprint world record holder Usain Bolt set a new world record taking the gold in the men’s 100m in a stunning 9.69 seconds (with no wind).
A confident powerful Bolt looked relaxed and even a little animated before the race. Confident of his victory the 21 year old more or less show boated the last 20 metres striding and extending his arms while blistering the world record. He probably could have finished 9.60 flat had he not slowed down and extended his arms
I will admit that tears filled this tough guy eyes when I saw a Jamaican doing the “no linga” in front of a stadium of 91,000 spectators on the international stage with the black green and gold draped over his shoulders celebrating the historic occasion. Then they went and played a Bob Marley in the stadium.
